In addition, it acts as anti-cancer agent. Garlic contains allicin, a compound which provides most of its medicinal properties. It is recommended to consume it raw in order to get most of it.

Olive oil is an excellent source of monounsaturated fats, which in turn lowers cholesterol levels, reduces the risk of heart disease, and it keeps the blood sugar levels in check. Make sure you use extra virgin oil.
Raw honey is definitely one of nature`s super foods. It is used as a natural sweetener as well as a remedy. It is abundant in antioxidants and it helps the body stay alkaline.
