Acid food is the major culprit for sickness, disease, aging, and even cancer. On the other hand, eating alkaline foods creates alkaline environment in the body, oxygenates the system, and helps prevent and fight off cancer.
The major risk factor when it comes to cancer is the food we eat. A quite long ago, people used to eat mainly alkaline foods but this has changed over the past few years, and so did the cancer rate. The worst part is that most doctors fail to inform patients about the right food needed to prevent cancer or remove it naturally.
Most foods we eat these days are a combination of acid and alkalizing forming elements. A diet consisting of predominantly acid food, such as the standard Western diet, is found to contribute to cancer. If you are already diagnosed with cancer, you need to balance your body`s pH level, since cancer thrives in acidic environment and dies in an alkaline one.
The alkaline acid ratio is measured on the pH scale, ranging from 0 to 14. Any value from 0 to 7 is acidic while anything between 7 and 14 is considered alkaline. The best and simplest way to determine which food is alkaline and which is acidic is to do a little research and test your pH level on a regular basis.
The prevalence of cancer is constantly on the rise, due to the typical Western diet which is extremely acidic, mostly based on animal products like dairy. As mentioned in the very beginning, long time ago people used to eat fresh fruits and veggies more, meaning that it`s time to go back to that plant-based diet.
Examples of acid forming foods include cheese, pasta, jams, jellies, butter, soft drinks, and alcohol. Not all acid forming foods are bad, it`s our diet that is out of balance. In case you are dealing with any health problem, make sure you avoid or at least limit the intake of acidic foods.
On the other hand, examples of alkaline foods include freshly grown fruits and veggies, grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds. Aim at getting more of these foods in your daily diet in order to keep cancer at bay or reverse it naturally.
Although diet is not the only contributing factor when it comes to cancer, it is one of the most influential ones. Our diet has drastically changed over the last few decades and the foods offered on the market today are largely affecting our health.
Unfortunately, most of what`s available in the supermarkets is heavily processed, which makes it low in nutrition. As difficult as it may seem, try to stick to fresh and organic produce, while avoiding acidic forming foods if you are to prevent cancer and other similar diseases.
Acidic environment in the body inhibits nerve action while alkaline environment stimulates it. It was also found that cold showers make the blood alkaline whereas hot showers make it acidic. If the blood remains acidic over an extended period of time, the body will deposit this excess acid to another body part. As the cycle continues, these areas will become more and more acidic, creating acidic cells.
Some of these cells may survive by becoming abnormal and eventually turning into malignant cells. They don’t correspond to our DNA memory code but rather grow uncontrollably and lead to development of cancer, which develops through a few stages:
- Indigestion of acid forming foods like fatty foods, aspartame, refined foods, chemically treated foods
- Increase in constipation
- Increase of acidity in the blood ( beginning of leukemia)
- Increase of acidity in the extra cellular fluids
- Increase of acidity in the intracellular fluids
- Birth of malignant cells, known as initiation
- Cancer promotion through radiation, chemicals, and drugs
