How To Make Watermelon Jerky
- 1 watermelon
- Smoked salt ( optional)
- Chilli-lime seasoning ( optional)
- Kosher salt ( optional)
- Slice the watermelon into ¼ inch thick sheets
- Remove the rind and slice each sheet into strips
- Place the strips on a parchment paper-lined dehydrator tray
- Sprinkle smoked salt, chilli-lime seasoning, and smoked salt across the strips
- Dehydrate the watermelon at 170 degrees for about 12 hours
- Allow it to cool down prior removing from the tray
