With the flu season at its peak days, there is a campaign urging people to have the flu shot. However, most people are hesitant whether or not to have it, simply because they are not fully familiar with the list of flu vaccine ingredients.
This is not surprising since the leaflet given with the jab doesn’t include the ingredients or the side effects. If you are interested in learning the truth regarding flu shots and their detrimental ingredients, read on!
What Exactly is in Flu Vaccines?
Formaldehyde is widely used in labs as preservative, yet its side effects have not been fully investigated. A study involving funeral industry workers who are exposed to this chemical on a regular basis found a strong link between formaldehyde and myeloid leukemia.
2. Octylphenol ethoxylate (Triton X-100):
This chemical is used by companies for “wetting, detergency, superior hard surface, metal cleaning and excellent emulsification” in paints, coatings, oilfield chemicals, textiles, and industrial cleaners. However, it has been scientifically shown that it may negatively affect the reproductive system.
Thimerosal contains mercury, a well-known neurotoxin which is associated with nerve damage. There are reported cases of mercury poisoning caused by this toxin.
Other ingredients in Fluzone include gelatin and sodium phosphate-buffered isotonic sodium chloride solution.
Other Potentially Toxic Ingredients
This ingredient is a known carcinogen and potential toxin to the skin, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, and the liver.
2. Polymyxin B
This antibiotic is associated with a wide range of side effects, including nephrotoxic and neurotoxic reactions like headache, apnea, fever, dizziness, and high blood pressure.
3. Neomycin sulfate
Although in rare instances, this chemical may lead to hearing loss, difficulty breathing, weakness, rash, and drowsiness.
4. Sodium taurodeoxycholate
It has been scientifically shown that sodium taurodeoxycholate may promote tumor growth, particularly in the throat, colon, and the pancreas.
5. Dibasic sodium phosphate and monobasic potassium phosphate
Phosphates are typically used as preservatives, emulsifying, and acidifying agents. The problem with these chemicals is that they may trigger cardiovascular problems.
6. Monobasic sodium phosphate (MSP)
MSP is well-known to cause permanent impairment of renal functions and acute phosphate nephropathy. What`s more, it may cause cardiac arrhythmias and seizures, too.
7. Calcium chloride
This chemical may lead to a wide range of cardiovascular issues.
8. Potassium chloride
Mild side effects include vomiting and other digestive problems while severe side effects include chest pain, confusion, irregular heartbeat, allergic reactions, and even paralysis.
