How it Works?
Turmeric and coconut milk are the key ingredients in this recipe, both of which are well known as potent weight loss stimulators. As mentioned earlier, lavender has a soothing effect while honey is added to provide a natural sweetness in the recipe and simply make it tastier!
Turmeric: Turmeric stimulates fat burning through a process called thermogenesis. It has been scientifically shown that it also burns fat through angiogenesis – new blood vessel growth and reducing fat content in cells. Besides, it also promotes liver detoxification and lowers cholesterol levels, both of which are needed for a healthy weight loss process. Its active ingredient curcumin has been shown to lower fatty acid, blood glucose, liver fat, and triglycerides, showing that turmeric indeed can aid in weight loss. Not to mention, turmeric is packed with anti-inflammatory properties, too.
Coconut Milk: Many studies done on coconut milk suggest that it really helps blast belly fat. Although it doesn’t work as miracle weight-loss drink, swapping regular milk for coconut milk helps you cut calories and burn belly fat without feeling deprived. It is relatively low in sugar too, which also confirms that it does help stimulate a healthy weight loss process.
